The whole experience was amazing, Michele was super knowledgeable and very quick to answer questions. I just moved from Ky to Nd and was unsure where to get my half cow from. there cows are 100% angus beef unlike everyone else up here that I could find. With it being a newer company made me nervous but I am so so so excited to say long story short I got my half cow and they sent it to maple valley meats who I can say they were professional and super nice when Me and my wife went to pick up the half cow, when we ate the burger it was unlike any other beef we have had. The steaks are way above restaurant quality (on a whole different level), good by to every steakhouse out there)! They cut all of our steaks the correct way per request at 1inch and Zero issues and dissatisfaction what so ever and will be getting a whole cow later on.

Excellent quality. The meat to fat ratio is ideal for my tastes for every cut of meat I've had from them. The soup bones might as well be roasts.

The porterhouse steaks were incredible. Best steak I have had in the state of ND. I would highly recommend this beef.

If steaks had a maximum of 5 star rating I would give the quality of these stakes a 10. My best suggestion is to cook it at 425ﾟ for approximately 4 minutes on each side and you will never regret that decision.

We have gotten beef from Elson's (misc pkgs several times, half of a half, & a half) & have absolutely loved all of it. We won't buy beef any place else. The steaks are so tender we don't even need to use our new steak knives . Another example, it is so wonderful to fry hamburger & not strain off massive amounts of grease & water. Don't even get me started on how wonderful a good old pot roast is! We're return customers.
